Our Mission
As many of the “old guard” of educational administrators and leaders begin to retire, our ecosystem is experiencing a brain drain unlike ever before.
It’s our goal to fill that gap by providing the personalized mentorship, professional development, expert consulting, and other services necessary for administrators across the country to advance.
Districts continue to be required to do more with less and need guidance from leaders who have been “in the trenches” of education who know what works and how to leverage existing resources in innovative ways for better benefits.
Dr. Mike Doughty
Founding Partner
Dr. Mike Doughty is starting his 28th year in public education. He is currently the Assistant Superintendent for the Northeastern Regional Information Center (NERIC), a division of the Capital Region BOCES, which is one of 37 educational service agencies in New York State. Prior to this role he was the Executive Director for Statewide Projects where he led statewide efforts to roll out the Next Generation ELA and Mathematics Standards. Mike also served as the Deputy Superintendent of the Greece Central School District, the ninth largest school district in New York State, as well as the Deputy Superintendent of Monroe 1 BOCES. He was an elementary school principal for 10 years, has taught elementary school, high school math, undergraduate and graduate teacher education, and certification courses for aspiring school administrators. Mike presents regionally and nationally on many topics including presentation skills, productivity, and leadership. He lives in Hilton, New York with his wife and two daughters.
Raleigh Dewan
Founding Partner
Raleigh Dewan is a serial entrepreneur who has built, sold, and advised several impact companies across the consumer packaged goods, medical device, digital health, wearables, and educational technology spaces. From American tea companies that fight human trafficking to self-stabilizing assistive devices to empower patients suffering debilitating hand tremors to take life back in their hands, He has sought to do well by doing good. Raleigh has led and advised all kinds of organizations from startups to large, international companies on product development, market strategy, fundraising, and process optimization. He’s part of the Texas Business Hall of Fame, a National Academy of Engineers Grand Challenges Scholar, and a Coca-Cola Scholar. Raleigh serves on the SMU Social Impact Fund Lab, SMU Young Alumni Board, and SMU Tower Center Board. He’s a published author and was the Meadows Museum Poet Laureate in 2019. He lives between Austin and Dallas, Texas and spends every weekend practicing the sacred art of Texas barbecue.
